We have reduced the operator’s burden and improved operability by revising the layout of the battery and the switch panel from DTD172 and slimming down the entire circumference of the head.
Illumination shadows have been significantly reduced by adopting a ring illumination LED.
Slim tool body
The protrusions on the LED sections on both sides have been eliminated, improving the screwdriving performance in tight corners or confined spaces.
Ring illumination LED
• The LED emits light in a ring shape from the tip of the hammer case, significantly reducing the shadow of the bit.
• The brightness (3 stages) can be changed by pressing and holding the mode switch button.
Easy-to-see Switch panel
The switch panel has been moved to the rear side of the battery, allowing the user to check and change the mode during operation.
Optimal battery layout
The center of gravity has been moved closer to the center line of the grip, by locating the battery 12mm backward compared with the current model, reducing the strain on the wrist during operation.
Light mode
• To turn on the light, set F/R change lever in the neutral position and pull the switch trigger. To turn off the light, pull the switch trigger again.
• The light turns off automatically one hour after turned on.
• In the light mode, the brightness (3 stages) can be switched by briefly pressing the mode switch button.
